Sydney auctions: Empty ‘shell’ of a home in North Bondi sells for $5.7 million

It was another big weekend for Sydney home auctions, with nearly 85 per cent producing a sale and multiple properties attracting more than 10 bidders.

Among the standout sales was a North Bondi house in a prized location within a short walk of the beach, which sold under the hammer for $5.74 million.

The price for the Blair St home was more than $1 million above the reserve. A dozen buyers registered to bid, all builders or developers.
